A new paper was published by O. Guillaume et al. in Biomaterials “Orbital floor repair using patient specific osteoinductive implant made by stereolithography”.
In this paper, EasyIPL was used to evaluate the level of matching between physical 3D-printed implants and their computer design. The implants were scanned with microCT, the segmented models where registered to CAD designs and differences were mapped.
This image processing technique was published previously in the Journal of Medical Materials and Technologies and the poster below was presented at TERMIS EU 2017.
